The System Transformation Grant plays an instrumental role in enhancing our curriculum, establishing safe and inclusive school environments, and initiating a comprehensive national teacher development program. Most importantly, it ensures every child, regardless of their learning needs, has access to a high-quality education.
The System Capacity Grant focuses on strengthening the governance of our education system. It establishes a strong foundation for equitable and sustainable education by ensuring our planning processes are both strategic and inclusive and institutions are equipped to address the needs of all learners.
The project aims to strengthen evidence-based policy making by establishing and operationalising a digital based Education Management Information System (EMIS). It will also train MoE and school level staff in the use of the data for decision making. In addition, a training facility would be established under this grant in the National Institute of Education.
